EmoChART Berkeley Storefront Window Proposal

Proposed Site:
Storefront window at least 7 feet wide x 10 feet tall clear glass with good street visibility and electricity. Requires at least 18 feet behind window for video projection but the space need not be empty.
32 Feelings represented by different colored kiln fired glass tear shapes
25 strands of glass tears tied onto window screen. Each strand represents feelings reported by different people from January through July 2022.

Glass tears attached to 42" x 52" stretcher bars held on a 7 foot easel
Eight blown glass tears ranging from 6 inches to 12 inches contain colored liquid representing eight basic feelings arranged in color groups:
Blue: Peaceful
Purple/Pink: Happy
Red: Angry
Orange: Fearful
Yellow: Surprised
Green: Disgusted
Warm Grey: Bad
Cool Grey/Black: Sad
Installation includes signage and QR code linking to EmoChART Google Form
Easel illuminated at night by LED projector fading between the different colors accompanied by corresponding music and sound.
